UN Women hosts a Global Knowledge Platform to End Violence against Women, aimed to improve knowledge and coordination among different actors in order to address violence against women more effectively. The platform consists of three individual websites: 1) Global Database on Violence against Women, 2) Inventory of United Nations Activities to End Violence against Women, and 3) Virtual Knowledge Centre to End Violence against Women and Girls, which include prevalence data of violence against women, information regarding measures and actions taken by Governments and the United Nations system as well as knowledge-based policy and programming guidance.
